Slough is a big city in Berkshire, England, 20 miles west of central London, 3 miles north of Windsor, 6 miles east of Maidenhead, 12 miles south-east of High Wycombe and 20 miles north-east of Reading. Sedentary at the entry to the Thames Valley and London and at the intersection of the M4, M40 and M25 motorways, it proposals easy road entrance to the rest of the UK. The A4 and the Great Western Main Line pass through the town, which was part of adjacent Buckinghamshire. From 2019, the Elizabeth Line will permit fast journeys to the heart of London.
Geography:
Slough is to the west of Greater London. Nearby cities are Windsor to the south, Maidenhead to the west, Uxbridge to the northeast and Beaconsfield to the north.
