CISSP

What is CISSP?

CISSP is a globally approved cybersecurity qualification designed for experienced cybersecurity practitioners.

In 1988, it was recognised that a standardised cybersecurity body which provided certification for the industry was required. In 1989, ISC (International Information Security Certification Consortium) was established, with its first certification, CISSP, being launched in 1994.

CISSP takes as its basis the CBK (Common Body of Knowledge), a collection of skills, practices and techniques which any cyber expert should know in order to do their job effectively.

Our CISSP training provides delegates with the knowledge they need to prepare for the CISSP exam, including a strong understanding of the 8 CISSP domains.

About Slough

Slough is a big city in Berkshire, England, 20 miles west of central London, 3 miles north of Windsor, 6 miles east of Maidenhead, 12 miles south-east of High Wycombe and 20 miles north-east of Reading. Sedentary at the entry to the Thames Valley and London and at the intersection of the M4, M40 and M25 motorways, it proposals easy road entrance to the rest of the UK. The A4 and the Great Western Main Line pass through the town, which was part of adjacent Buckinghamshire. From 2019, the Elizabeth Line will permit fast journeys to the heart of London.

Geography:

Slough is to the west of Greater London. Nearby cities are Windsor to the south, Maidenhead to the west, Uxbridge to the northeast and Beaconsfield to the north. Mostly Slough areas were anciently part of Buckinghamshire. The town advanced by the growth and merger of communities along the Great West Road. Over the years Marsh has lengthy highly, joining some, unlike villages.

The urban area syndicates into the neighbouring groups of Burnham, a small area of Taplow near Chippenham, Farnham Royal and Stoke Poges which continue in the region of Buckinghamshire and Datchet which is also in Berkshire. Eton is barely cushioned by the Jubilee River and by green space from part of Slough, and the two areas previously shaped the Eton birth, marriages and deaths registration region.
