About Fleet

Fleet is a city in the district of Hampshire, England. It is situated 36 miles south-west of London. It is the main city of Hart District. According to the 2011 census, the population for Fleet was 38,726.

In 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 and again in 2015, Hart was chosen the finest home to live in the UK by the Halifax Quality of Life study, above areas such as Elmbridge in Surrey and Wokingham in Berkshire. This is due to the incredibly productive mainstream of the population, good climate and health situations, high levels of admission to free space and the town's state covered by the scenery.

Geography:

Straight close cities and communities include Winchfield, Dogmersfield, Crondall, Ewshot, and Hartley Wintney. The Fleet Pond nature standby is a beautiful location on the northern edge of the city. The pond carries freshwater similar to the lake in Hampshire. In ancient time, the lake has a cold over authorising roller-skating. Fleet railway station is on the Waterloo to Southampton main line. There are small airfields close to Blackbushe Airport and Farnborough Airfield. The Basingstoke Canal, built at the end of the eighteenth period, linked Fleet to Basingstoke and, in the other way, London via the Wey navigation. By the early twentieth period, it had tumbled into disorder, but the section between the Wey Navigation and the Greywell Tunnel has since been reinstated by candy striper and is upheld as a free ability.
